FAQs

What should I expect when starting at Ironwood?

All clients begin with a fitness and wellness evaluation that assesses your current level of exercise readiness - this could range from the ability to complete a push-up properly to the ability to touch your toes. No matter your current state, we meet you where your at with assessments that are level-appropriate, safe and effective. We then blend your health and fitness goals with your assessment results to provide you with a safe and progressively effective exercise program tailored specifically to address your needs and goals. You should then expect expertly coached workouts - challenging you appropriately and safely.

Online Training FAQs:

I haven’t done much video chatting before and I’m not exactly tech savvy - can online training still work for me?

if you have a reliable internet connection and wifi along with a dependable mobile device you may be surprised how easy it is. I have worked successfully with non-tech savvy clients.

What type of device works best for online training?

Laptops, tablets or mobile phones. I have had success working with all types of devices.

Do I need my own exercise equipment?

All you need is a dedicated space of approximately 7’x3’ and a gym mat is useful but not mandatory.

How will I know when my session starts?

My clients text me at the time they are ready to begin their session. Once I receive your message I will contact you by video and we will get started.

What happens if we lose internet connection during our session?

If we lose connection during a session and are unable to reconnect in a reasonable time then your session will be deemed unfulfilled and will be made up at an agreed upon time. I find this rarely to be an issue.

What happens if my internet is down?

No worries - we will just reschedule your session for an another agreed upon time.
